ANNOUNCEMENT
SOLICITATION FOR NOMINEES SECTORS FOR THE SCWD BOARD OF DIRECTORS FROM CIVIC & PROFESSIONAL
To all CIVIC & PROFESSIONAL Organizations in Santa Cruz, Laguna,
Santa Cruz (Laguna) Water District is humbly soliciting for nominations for the following, to wit;
One (1) of the members of any Civic Organization in Santa Cruz, Laguna to possibly represent the CIVIC SECTOR and occupy one seat at the Office of the Board of Directors to commence on January 01, 2021 and will expire on December 31, 2024; and
One (1) of the members of any Professional Organization in Santa Cruz, Laguna to possibly represent the PROFESSIONAL SECTOR and occupy one seat at the Office of the Board of Directors to commence on January 01, 2021 and will expire on December 31, 2026.
Kindly consider the following qualifications of your nominee:
Citizen of the Republic of the Philippines
Of voting age
Resident of Santa Cruz, Laguna
Must not be related within the 3rd degree of affinity or consanguinity to the appointing authority (in this case, the appointing authority is Hon. Mayor Edgar S. San Luis)
Must not be a government employee/official (supported with a certification under oath of the nominee)
Must not be covered by one-year election ban
Must be a bona fide member and of good standing, of the organization (supported with a certification of the nominating institution)
With complete and duly signed resume (with latest picture)
With a continuing aforementioned qualification until the next expiration of his term
Please send your nomination letter with the following attachment on or before November 01, 2020, to wit;
Nominee’s updated resume with latest pictures
Certification under oath of the nominee that he/she is NOT a government employee/official
Certification of the nominating institution that the nominee is their bona fide member in good standing
Board Resolution pertaining to Nominee’s nomination
SEC Registration of the Civic/Professional Organization
By-laws and Constitution of the Civic/Professional Organization
The above- stated is pursuant with the Local Water Districts governing agency, the Local Water Utilities Administration (LWUA)’s Memorandum Circular 005.16.
